As a certified mastectomy and bra fitter serving thousands of women through the World of Pink Foundation, I am always on the lookout for innovative, non-invasive, and comfortable products that provide both function and confidence to our community. Grippy Cakes has quickly become one of the most versatile and exciting additions to our toolkit—not only for our breast cancer survivors, but for myself, friends, and new moms alike.
Grippy Cakes are lightweight, comfortable, and adaptable. They’ve proven exceptionally effective as modesty covers under athletic wear, fitted fashion tops, and form-hugging dresses. For women who have experienced asymmetrical results after breast surgeries—whether due to radiation, reconstruction complications, or explanation—Grippy Cakes offer a smooth, rounded appearance that helps restore visual balance without adhesives or invasive inserts. Many women prefer to wear their own choice of bra rather than a traditional mastectomy bra, making Grippy Cakes an excellent solution for added comfort and symmetry.
In particular, I’ve found their larger sizes or sizing up to be ideal for correcting slight asymmetries in both unilateral and bilateral cases.
