CAKES Childcare Movement
Childcare nearly ended our founders’ careers. They decided it wouldn’t end anyone else’s. After launching the CAKES Childcare Credit and a family-first way of working, we’re calling on employers and employees everywhere to help make affordable childcare a workplace priority—not just a personal problem.
Together with Moms First, Start Early and TOOTRiS, we’re sharing actionable resources to help businesses support working families and keep more parents in the workforce.
The CAKES Childcare Credit helps eligible employees cover childcare expenses—up to $36,000 per employee, per year.
Our Community Partners
Creating real change in breast cancer means going beyond awareness. That’s why we partner with BCRF, the largest private funder of breast cancer research, and The Previvor to advance education, advocacy, and science—reshaping the breast cancer journey for generations to come.
CAKES x The Previvor: A Grant That Changes Lives
We're thrilled to announce our fertility grant collaboration with The Previvor, helping fund IVF with PGT-M testing for those carrying a breast cancer gene mutation. For people with a BRCA mutation, the lifetime risk of cancer can be as high as 85%. PGT-M testing helps ensure future children are free of inherited mutations, but it isn't covered for most without a diagnosis. This grant empowers recipients with the opportunity to make proactive, informed reproductive choices, helping to break the cycle of inherited cancer for future generations.
She Is Not Too Young Fund
CAKES body® has donated $400,000 to fund critical research through BCRF focused on younger women.
We want to know why younger women are being diagnosed with breast cancer at increasing rates and how to treat it. Too many times younger women are told "You're too young for breast cancer" and face unique challenges such as later detection, aggressive tumor biology, fertility/menopause impacts, and disparities in care.
